Web 2.0 and doctor-patient relationship

I read an article published in 2010 in the Journal of Law, Medicine & Ethics about how Web 2.0 is changing the doctor-patient relationship (Bernard Lo et al). Web 2.0 offers a way to be in touch with other peolple with a particular condition. At the same time, now it's possible to improve the access to health services and it even seems that Web 2.0 may give patients and people in general, a more active role in decision making.

Web 2.0 is evolving quickly in Health Care Services and how patients are using it so at the moment we have enough time to reconsider and work on different ethical, legal and organizational issues in the present doctor-patient relationship scenario to make the most of these tools in health care.
